Capraia 4

Quarto giorno. Il ritorno.
Verso le nove e trenta di sera salpiamo le ancore da Capraia. Rotta 20 gradi verso Viareggio. Siamo rimasti in due barche, una è già partita verso nord nel pomeriggio. Comincia una navigazione a motore (2500 rpm!), arriva il buio e la paura di incontrare una di quelle navi tipo Enterprise di cui dicemmo. Facciamo i turni al timone. L'altra barca ci segue, alle 3 ci chiamano per dirci che hanno tirato su le vele e non va male. Mettiamo le vele anche noi, va benissimo, navigazione in fil di ruota a 6 nodi, nuova rotta per La Spezia 330 gradi. L'altra barca ci supera e lentamente sparisce all'orizzonte.
Arriviamo nel golfo di La Spezia verso le 9:30 e ci dirigiamo a Lerici dove ci ritroviamo tutti ancorati in una caletta. Relax. Nel primo pomeriggio ritorniamo a Portovenere facciamo i bagagli, puliamo la barca. La vacanza è finita.

Fourth day. The return.
Around thirty past nine in the evening we weigh anchor from Capraia. The route is 20 degree toward Viareggio. We remain only two boat, one left Capraia in the afternoon.
At begin we navigate with the engine (2500 rpm!), the darkness falls, we feels scared of meeting one of those ships like Enterpise that we said before.
We turn at the helm. The other boat follow us, at three in the morning they call us to said that the have hoisted the sails and it seems going well. So we make the same and stop the engine, very well, the direction of the wind is exactly back, speed 6 knots, new route 330 degree toward La Spezia gulf. The other ship surpass us and disappears on the horizon.
We reach La Spezia gulf around nine past thirty in the morning, we direct toward Lerici where we meet the other two ships, we all stay anchorated near the cost. Relax. Early in the morning we return to Portovenere, making up the bagagge, cleaning up the ship. The rest is finished.
