Capraia 2

Secondo giorno:
lasciamo Livorno e facciamo rotta sulla Capraia, molto presto mettiamo le vele, finalmente con una bolina stretta possiamo tenere il passo delle altre barche.
La nostra barca è un First 31.7 - 10 metri, ha un motore che non può superare i 2100 giri, tranne casi eccezionali, un sacco di prese a mare, praticamente lo scafo è un gruviera. Per skipper abbiamo una lupachiotta di mare, è molto sicura con la barca, ma ha il terrore per tutto quello che sta sotto o dentro la barca, come il motore, l'olio del motore, gli scarichi a mare e l'impianto elettrico. La nostra unica preoccupazione sono i traghetti sperimentali superveloci che tagliano la nostra rotta, ne avvistiamo solo uno, ma era un porta-container.

Second day:
we leave Livorno, and we head toward Capraia, early we have wind and we can hoist the sails, this time we take the wind at bowline so we can keep the same speed of the other two boats.
Our boat is a First 31.7 - 10 meter, has an engine that can't exceed over 2100 rpm, except in exceptional cases, the boat has many holes for the exaust pipes it seems like a swiss cheese, every hole has a valve that you must open and close everytime you do something.
Our skipper is a seapike, she feels confortable with all the parts of the boat that are outside, but is terrified from the things that are inside, like the engine, the the level of the oil, the holes we said above, the electric sistem of the boat. We have not problems except for such experimental very fast ferryboat, that could appear along our way, we sight one of them, but was only a boat that carried containers.
